A recent survey on religion shows there are 34
million Americans who are classified as "Nones", that is they do
not embrace any of the "revealed" religions and the vast
majority of them are not Atheists. In actuality, the vast
majority of the "Nones" are actually Deists!
The survey shows a giant step forward for Deism in the fact that it
actually uses the word "Deist" and for the very significant raw
numbers it shows as representing the number of people who are
Deists. In reality, the number of Deists is actually
higher than the survey shows because the survey uses an outdated

You can subscribe to our free Deist monthly e-zine, THINKonline!, by clicking here. After you read your copy of THINKonline!, simply forward it to someone you think would be interested in it.
Another way of getting the word out about Deism is by writing letters to the editor of your local newspaper. This is a good place to introduce Deist thought and history. At the minimum, give the address of www.deism.com and a local contact when possible. Most important thing to getting your letter published is be concise and to the point, avoid personal attacks, stick to facts and not opinions. Most of all, be respectful.
Two other outlets for getting the Deist message out is talk radio and in the US, C-Span television. Whenever there is an opportunity to call in and talk about Deism, do it!
