Laws regarding benefits for religious organizations vary from country to country. Each country has a very different relationship with religions, in terms of taxation, tax breaks and subsidies.
For example, in Italy every citizen is obliged to choose a religion in his tax return. It's called 8x1000, because 8x1000 of its paid taxes go to that religion. The 8x1000 is not given to all religions, but only to those approved by the state. To be approved, a religion must not contradict the Italian Constitution.
The 8x1000 greatly enriches religions in Italy. We of the Italian Deist Union would like to obtain recognition of Deism from the Italian State so that we too can draw from public funding for religions and allocate it to various humanitarian projects and to the very diffusion of deist thought in the world, supporting the other various deist organizations scattered throughout the world. the world.
In your country do religions have some kind of subsidy like in Italy? Or some tax break of some kind?
From what I know of USA they are tax exempt if approved as an official religion which doesn't seem all the difficult since Church of Scientology qualifies! 🤨
