Hey everyone! Name’s Jack Osman. I currently live in Michigan and I am the contact person for both the state of Michigan as well as Lebanon (I am originally from Lebanon and I am fluent in Arabic). I wonder how religious people respond in justification when reminded of the fact that all religions have shed the blood of millions of people to force their religion? Also for non-religious doctrines such as fascism, national socialism, communism and other such anti-human ideologies? How is it possible that there are people, and not a few, who sympathize, preach and would impose such a social order on society. What goes on in the heads of these types of people? This is a question worth discussing. And here is the moment to express my opinion, namely that I do not agree with the opinion of those people who claim that a person is simply built this way and that it is almost encoded in our genes. In my opinion, they are simply deliberately leaving out of the equation the fact that there are many (and thank God for that) good people…
Great point. Religion brings a curse to the world. We don’t have a war in Gaza, we have a religious war between the Islam and Judaism. The irony of this is that both Islam and Judaism worship the same God, namely the God of Abraham. Religion and Government are our enimies. Marx called relgion the opiate of the people and the government keeps religion in order to keep the proletariat in line.
Hi everyone, just wanted a nice discussion to happen! You have probably realized how endless the subject of our Creator is. Only we deists can calmly and lovingly, without fear of hell, talk about the Creator. I think it is very important to learn from an early age to marvel at what the Creator has created, to enjoy what he has created, to study and understand what the Creator has created. May Reason Prevail!
Doing what you suggest is a sure way to have profound gratitude for The Supreme Intelligence/God, nature, the universe and our own lives. And you can't have a happy life without gratitude.
Hello, my name is Abdul Rahman. I was born a Muslim and embraced the Islamic religion for a long period of my life
Then I secretly became a Christian when I was 17 years old
After that, I became an atheist, and I do not believe in religions, but I am certain that they do not exist
As for the Creator of the universe, I am still searching for some evidence and I hope from my colleagues in the group
Guide me better
I live in Saudi Arabia and I cannot search or ask here
Hi Abdulrahman, I have heard that it is dangerous in Saudi Arabia to show any difference from the religion of "Islam", is that true?
